Responsibilities
The Sales Account Manager serves as the primary daily contact responsible for all commercial aspects associated with the account support actions of the assigned customers
Responsible for the daily management of all accounts within the sales organization, while aggressively pursuing new growth opportunities
Provide effective management of sales efforts in support of Business Plan Targets in sales, profitability, and AR performance
Provide regular updates to the Sales Director concerning both current and new potential customer account activities
Must maintain detailed knowledge of both current and targeted profitability by product group and customer
Will be responsible for development and successful implementation of innovative new business acquisition strategies within current customer base as well as targeted new customers
Serves as the primary managerial contact for OE/OES filter customers, and is responsible for ensuring both the customer, as well as all appropriate organizations within M+H are effectively managed
Must be able to effectively communicate both internally and externally of M+H organization in support of key projects
Account manager will be actively involved in global coordination of key customers
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other technical/business-related field
5-10 years’ experience in OE/OES Sales and/or Category Management
Experience managing Stellantis and GM accounts
Experience in outside sales with OEMs, or Tier 1 Automotive/Truck suppliers
Current passport and visa
Excellent verbal and written English communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Efficiency using Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Ability to travel up to 25% (mostly domestic)
Disciplined and able to work well under pressure
Previous sales experience in passenger car and OEM on-highway markets, as well as filtration is highly desired
