About the role

  • Shipping Administrator responsible for customer orders and shipping logistics in a fast-paced environment. Joining Malvern Panalytical's team with emphasis on efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Entering, checking and acknowledging customer orders.
  • Arranging shipping and co-ordinating deliveries with customers and agents.
  • Supporting the Malvern Panalytical materials group in export/import processes for materials sourced from the US and Asia Pacific countries.
  • Collaborating with the rest of the Team to achieve shared goals.
  • Help the Team to devise long-term improvement strategies and projects to ensure efficiency and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • GCSE or equivalent grades A-C in Maths and English as a minimum
  • Working knowledge and general understanding of export and import procedures
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working with SAP and/or Sales Force (great to have)
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and payment methods (Letter of Credit/CAD) (great to have)
  • Experience working with Freight Forwarders and Couriers (great to have)
