Responsibilities
Build, operate and continuously develop a centralized monitoring and alerting infrastructure
Monitor all IT systems, analyze alerts and respond promptly to incidents and outages
Conduct incident, problem and root-cause analyses, including escalation management
Operate, administer and optimize the Commvault backup and recovery environment
Plan and execute disaster recovery measures and tests
Ensure data security and compliance; support audits (e.g., ISO/BSI)
Maintain the systems landscape (patching, upgrades, capacity planning)
Create technical documentation and report to management and internal audit
Requirements
Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or IT systems electronics technician, or a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics
Several years of professional experience in an IT environment
Solid knowledge of backup and restore procedures and enterprise monitoring
Experience operating Windows and Linux server systems
Good networking knowledge at the port and protocol level
Strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills
Excellent German language skills, spoken and written (at least C1 level), and good English
Valid driving license (Class B)
