Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for business units, IT technology teams and software vendors.
  • Aligning requirements and solutions between business departments and IT, including translating business requirements into IT requirements.
  • Supporting customization and configuration of system environments.
  • Monitoring and ensuring proper operation of interfaces (e.g., APIs, EDI, ETL) between business applications and other systems.
  • Analyzing and resolving incidents in collaboration with vendors and external service providers; coordinating escalations.
  • Supporting regular security assessments and penetration tests; tracking findings through to remediation.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve IT and IT security (e.g., hardening, patch management, monitoring, RBAC).
  • Managing change and release management processes (planning, testing, rollout, post-go-live) for business applications.
  • Updating and maintaining technical documentation and process descriptions.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with internal departments and external service providers
  • Knowledge of administering and maintaining business applications and their technical infrastructure
  • Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft 365/Entra ID, Office 365, Dynamics (CRM/ERP) and security features
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and Jira (documentation, ticketing, change/release flows)
  • Confident working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems; basic scripting/automation skills are a plus
  • Understanding of business processes and requirements of business units, with the ability to translate them into IT requirements
  • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
