About the role

  • IT-Systemadministrator ensuring IT system availability and security for Rostock Freight and Fishing Port. Collaborating on strategic IT development and digitalization initiatives while providing user support.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of existing IT hardware and software
  • Ensuring uninterrupted system availability
  • Point of contact for all internal IT users (application support)
  • Ensuring and expanding IT security; implementation of current requirements (e.g., NIS2)
  • Ensuring data security in accordance with data protection regulations
  • Structured, strategic development of company IT and support for digitalization

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree in computer science, IT system administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally several years of experience in the described field
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, databases, network technology, virtualization)
  • Experience with client and server administration in Windows domain networks (Active Directory)
  • Confident use of standard software, particularly Microsoft 365
  • Analytical thinking as well as a systematic and independent working style
  • High level of responsibility, flexibility and commitment
  • Good knowledge of English
