About the role

  • Manager Search & Website driving marketing architecture and team strategies. Leading campaign efforts in Ghent, Belgium with focus on SEO and innovative marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor SEA specialists, focusing on deepening expertise in search strategy, campaign execution, and conversion optimization
  • Create structures (rituals, playbooks, internal trainings) for exchanging learnings, best practices, and case studies across the chapter and with other squads
  • Continuously monitor developments in search technology, generative AI, and ad platforms, translating these into actionable insights and upskilling opportunities for the chapter
  • Work closely with the Product Manager of the Demand Capture squad to ensure alignment of search activities across the customer journey
  • Design and evolve a robust marketing technology stack, integrating marketing automation, CRM, CMS, analytics, and data management tools
  • Create and enforce standards, processes, and best practices for smooth data flow, system interoperability, and campaign efficiency
  • Remove technical and operational barriers to enable marketing teams
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging marketing technologies to future-proof infrastructure
  • Drive automation to increase agility and reduce manual workload
  • Monitor system performance, data quality, and compliance with privacy and security regulations
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies, roadmap planning, and strategic discussions shaping long-term marketing capabilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing marketing architectures or technology solutions
  • Experienced in leading teams and safeguarding brand identity
  • Hands-on experience with Search Engine Advertising
  • Knowledge in display, video and Google ads demand gen
  • Strong knowledge of marketing technology stacks, including automation, CRM, CMS, analytics, and integrations
  • Skilled at collaborating across technical and marketing stakeholders
  • Proactive in identifying and solving system inefficiencies
  • Knowledgeable in data governance, privacy, and security considerations
  • Comfortable working in agile teams, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution
  • Native Dutch
  • Excellent communication skills in English are essential; German language skills are a plus.
