About the role

  • Partner and team assistant supporting Private Equity and M&A team in Frankfurt at Latham & Watkins. Handling secretarial tasks, document management, and coordination of lawyer activities.

Responsibilities

  • Independent handling of general secretarial and organizational tasks
  • File management and organization (primarily electronic)
  • Management of client/matter setup (support with conflict checks and the preparation of fee agreements, as well as support in the AML process)
  • Time recording for lawyers
  • Preparation and processing of client invoices in our internal billing system in close cooperation with the lawyers
  • Revision and formatting of matter-related documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Travel and calendar management

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a multilingual secretary, office management clerk, or an equivalent commercial qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable assistant role (preferably in a commercial law firm)
  • Confident user of MS Office tools and willingness to learn additional software
  • Excellent German and English skills (spoken and written)
  • You work systematically, in a structured and independent manner, but also enjoy working in a team. You have good time-management skills and enjoy a variety of tasks.
