  • Associate Recruiting Manager overseeing recruitment functions at Latham & Watkins in Brussels office. Supporting hiring for law clerks, trainees, lateral associates, and managing their programs.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the associate recruiting function for the Brussels office
  • Supporting the Recruiting Committee in hiring law clerks, trainees and lateral associates
  • Managing all aspects of the Trainee and Law Clerk Program, including orientation, events, programming, training, and performance management
  • Staying abreast of current and pending employment laws and market trends while supporting strategic initiatives of the firm’s management committees
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with office leadership
  • Organising, assigning, delegating, and coordinating staff work to manage workflow and resources effectively
  • Promoting effective work practices and working as a team member

Requirements

  • Experience in legal or professional services recruitment, providing a strategic and forward-thinking approach to sourcing
  • Supervisory experience in a related field, preferably
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
