Account Manager responsible for managing top customers and ensuring successful project execution. Working closely with internal teams for effective communication and support within a family-owned industrial technology company.
Responsibilities
You manage and develop our top customers in close coordination with the Account Manager.
You ensure smooth preparation and processing of quotes, route inquiries and coordinate all internal departments for complex projects.
You proactively support the preparation, implementation and monitoring of customer-specific agreements (e.g., framework agreements, delivery concepts), monitor their execution and intervene proactively in case of disruptions.
You process customer orders and resolve open issues.
You coordinate closely with Account Managers and internal specialist departments (engineering, logistics, tendering team, etc.) to ensure a consistent customer approach ("One Voice to the Customer") and smooth order processing.
You support potential analyses and contribute to the creation and implementation of customer-specific development plans.
You maintain sales-relevant data in the ERP and CRM systems and regularly report defined KPIs to team leaders and Account Managers.
Requirements
Completed commercial or technical vocational training and approx. 3 years of sales experience – ideally in a trading company or a similar environment.
Confident handling of ERP/CRM systems and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong process and system understanding.
Strength in needs analysis, consulting and building long-term customer relationships.
Team-oriented, good coordination skills and a solution-focused working style.
Hands-on mentality and the ability to solve challenges independently.
