About the role

  • Business Development Manager for a mid-sized logistics company focusing on contract logistics growth and customer acquisition in Germany. Collaborate with various departments to develop tailored logistic solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Active acquisition of new customers in the field of contract logistics
  • Responsible for strategically expanding market presence in the trade, FMCG, electronics, industrial, DIY and mechanical engineering sectors
  • Develop customized logistics solutions in close collaboration with Operations, Engineering and Project Management
  • Conduct market, customer and competitor analyses to identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present persuasive proposals and concepts to decision-makers
  • Build, maintain and further develop sustainable customer relationships
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the sales concept
  • Attend trade fairs, industry events and networking functions
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation

Requirements

  • Experience as a Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager or Sales Manager in the logistics industry, specifically in contract logistics
  • Strong professional network
  • Solid commercial/business understanding and project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
