About the role

  • Sales Manager developing contract logistics in Eastern Germany. Focusing on customer relationship management and market analysis for sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and development of our contract logistics in the Eastern Germany market
  • Development and management of new and existing customers
  • Building long-term customer relationships and networks
  • Managing all sales processes from initial contact through to closing
  • Handling interface communication between the customer and internal specialist departments
  • Preparing price indications and conducting price negotiations
  • Contributing to tenders and customer-specific solutions
  • Continuous analysis of current customer, market and competitive developments
  • Participation in trade fairs and events, e.g. transport logistic Munich
  • Preparing reports and analysing sales metrics

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or university degree
  • Several years of professional experience in sales and logistics
  • Customer orientation, strong communication skills and negotiation ability
  • Committed and independent working style
  • Willingness to travel within the region and a valid driving licence (Class B)
  • Good written and spoken English
