About the role

  • Sales Manager shaping proactive customer engagement in Germany at ab in den urlaub. Managing outbound sales strategies and team performance while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for our sales activities: shaping proactive customer outreach in telephone-based travel advisory
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies
  • Manage performance using clear KPIs and continuously optimize processes
  • Create persuasive conversation guides
  • Develop modern coaching methods
  • Operational management of your team
  • Set clear objectives, conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, call listenings and team huddles
  • Ensure GDPR-compliant processes

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in sales, communications or business administration
  • Many years of successful practical experience
  • Several years of experience in outbound sales (opt-in), including multiple years in a leadership role
  • Proven success in team management, motivation and development
  • Experience as a sales trainer
  • Experience with 1:1 coaching, team huddles and call listenings
  • Confident handling of metrics such as conversion rate, revenue/TTV, cancellation rate and add-on product rate
  • You optimize sales processes and ensure compliance and quality standards (e.g., GDPR, consent for call recordings)
  • Very good German skills (at least C1) and solid English skills (at least B2)
  • Experience in the travel industry is an advantage but not required
  • Experience with CRM and ACD systems (e.g., Dynamics 365 Omnichannel) is a plus
