Responsibilities
Meet with homeowners for in-home appointments (qualified leads provided—no cold calling).
Evaluate job scope using moisture meters and other technology; identify mitigation needs and recommended services.
Provide clear solutions by quickly building trust, showing empathy, and guiding customers through next steps.
Secure work authorization onsite by delivering honest consultations and following established sales steps.
Communicate job status with customers, company management, and (when needed) insurance carriers.
Process required documentation promptly and ensure all paperwork and system entries are accurate and complete.
Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to support smooth job handoff and scheduling.
Maintain strong communication and customer service throughout the sales process.
Requirements
3+ years of outside sales experience (in-home, restoration, construction, or services strongly preferred).
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to execute a one-visit close.
Computer skills required with the ability to learn new systems; comfort using technology and field equipment/software.
Basic math skills.
Excellent communication skills with a customer-first, empathetic approach.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work overtime as needed, including some holidays and weather-related surge events.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
