About the role

  • Payroll employee handling monthly salary processing and employee data management at Liebherr International. Collaborating with HR and finance teams for effective personnel administration.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly payroll processing for the assigned payroll group
  • Manage allowances and other compensation components
  • Maintain and update employee data in the master data and payroll systems
  • Manage master data and digital personnel files
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and collective bargaining regulations
  • Calculate and remit taxes and social security contributions
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and compensation inquiries
  • Support HR departments as part of the Shared Service Center on personnel-related matters
  • Prepare regular reports and analyses for management
  • Analyze and optimize payroll processes
  • Work closely with Accounting, Controlling and other relevant departments
  • Communicate with external entities such as health insurance providers and tax authorities

Requirements

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree with a focus on Human Resources, Finance, or a comparable qualification is an advantage
  • Relevant professional experience in payroll processing is desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of current social security and tax legislation, with ongoing updates on new developments and legal changes
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with digital HR and payroll tools
  • Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking
  • Independent and careful working style
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Service-oriented mindset and strong advisory competence
  • Discretion and trustworthiness when handling sensitive data
