About the role

  • Behavior Support Specialist working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Developing and implementing behavioral intervention strategies as part of a skilled team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with people with developmental disabilities and a team of skilled professionals
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention strategies to ensure the best possible outcomes for the people we support

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or graduate level degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Education or a related field
  • At least three years of paid, full time (or equivalent part time) experience in developing and or implementing behavioral support and / or risk reduction strategies or plans
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm to make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities using ethical and evidence based practices
