Responsibilities
Oversee the configuration and customization strategy ensuring compliance with ServiceNow best practices.
Manage complex requirements through advanced configuration and scripting.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
Lead the end-to-end upgrade cycle, including release notes review and testing framework oversight.
Provide technical guidance and code reviews for Junior Administrators, fostering learning and quality within the team.
Maintain the integrity of the CMDB and monitor overall platform health, proactively addressing performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience administering and developing on the ServiceNow platform in an enterprise environment.
Certified System Administrator (CSA) is mandatory.
Additional certifications such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM/CSM/HRSD are highly advantageous.
Deep expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and Service Portal configuration.
Proven experience managing integrations with third-party systems (e.g., Active Directory, Azure DevOps, Monitoring tools) using Integration Hub or custom APIs.
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and Agile development methodologies.
The confidence to push back constructively when requirements pose a risk to platform stability, offering alternative solutions that meet business needs.
