About the role

  • Head of HR Operations responsible for building a scalable HR function for Leads.io across various countries. Supporting managers with HR challenges and shaping the company's people strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and running a reliable, scalable HR function across the international business
  • Ensure HR processes are consistent, efficient, and scalable across all regions (NL, UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada)
  • Own and improve HR systems (HiBob) focusing on data quality, automation, and reporting
  • Oversee payroll, contracts, and compliance with local labor laws
  • Provide insights to support management and board-level decisions
  • Lead performance management and support Learning & Development initiatives
  • Act as a senior HR partner for managers, helping them deal with people-related challenges
  • Coach and support managers on performance, team dynamics, and employee challenges
  • Oversee internal communications to keep employees informed and aligned
  • Lead the annual engagement survey and turn results into clear, actionable improvements
  • Develop scalable HR policies and frameworks as the company grows internationally
  • Help shape the overall people strategy, balancing structure with flexibility
  • Build and maintain a competitive compensation and benefits approach
  • Advise on organizational design and team structure as the company scales

Requirements

  • Experience: Strong background in a senior HR role, ideally having grown from an operational role into a broader leadership position
  • Hands-on mindset: Comfortable operating both strategically and operationally in a scaling company
  • International experience: Familiar with multi-country HR environments, including payroll and labor law
  • Systems & data: Experienced with HRIS platforms (preferably HiBob) and using data to drive decisions
  • Communication: Clear, direct communicator who can work effectively with both senior leadership and operational teams
