About the role

  • HR Generalist supporting the North America Commercial organization at Envista. Ensuring compliant HR solutions and employee engagement initiatives aligned to business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR point of contact for Commercial leaders and employees, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle matters.
  • Partner with managers to ensure consistent, fair, and timely performance management, including coaching, documentation, and corrective action.
  • Lead and support employee relations matters, including issue resolution, investigations, and appropriate escalation, ensuring compliant and well‑documented outcomes.
  • Support talent management processes, including talent reviews, succession planning discussions, and identification and retention of high performers.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to support recruiting efforts for Commercial roles, including resume review, interview coordination, and hiring process guidance.
  • Use workforce data and trends (e.g., turnover, engagement, staffing needs) to identify risks and opportunities and provide actionable insights to leaders.
  • Facilitate and deliver HR training sessions, including New Hire Orientation, policy education, and HR updates for team meetings or town halls.
  • Partner with HR Shared Services and leave management vendors to support leaves of absence and ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and applicable state laws.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including survey administration, feedback sessions, and follow‑up action planning.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR COEs to ensure HR practices support commercial business strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist role; commercial or field‑based support experience preferred.
  • Must reside within a commutable distance to Brea, Ca. This is not a hybrid or remote role.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA).
  • Proven experience handling employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion.
  • HRIS proficiency highly preferred.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
