About the role

  • HR Business Partner providing leadership and support to Space & Mission Systems HR team at L3Harris Technologies. Collaborating on strategies that drive organizational success and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with leadership and staff to define and implement HR strategies that align with business goals
  • Establish, implement, and oversee human resources policies and programs, providing counsel and assistance to employees and management
  • Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts; address root causes of HR and employee relations issues
  • Analyze trends and metrics related to talent acquisition, attrition, diversity, performance, etc., to develop effective solutions, programs, and policies
  • Utilize metrics and analytics to drive performance and desired outcomes
  • Play a key role in administering talent management and succession planning within the organization
  • Provide change management leadership
  • Advise management on plans to enhance employee engagement and foster positive employee relations
  • Perform project management duties and team facilitation
  • Assist and advise management in all aspects of employee performance management
  • Apply strategic approaches to both verbal and written communications
  • Promote L3Harris business operating system ('e3'), focusing on administrative excellence and process improvement across the IT organization and HR function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
  • Proficiency in team facilitation, change management, project management, performance management, employee relations, staffing, compensation, diversity, and organizational/management development
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and consulting skills
  • Ability to identify root causes and link situations to the broader organizational context
  • Adaptability to operate successfully in a matrix environment
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office software products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
