About the role

  • Business Development Manager responsible for sales growth and market development for sensor solutions. Fostering customer relationships and identifying new market opportunities while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for revenue growth and market development in the assigned sales territory
  • Identify, analyze and develop new markets, customer segments and application areas for our sensor solutions
  • Maintain and expand existing customer relationships and actively acquire new customers
  • Present and position the industrial product portfolio to customers and distribution partners
  • Advise customers on selecting appropriate products and solutions
  • Plan and conduct customer visits, trade shows and conferences, and monitor market and competitor developments
  • Prepare, follow up and close proposals, and conduct price and contract negotiations
  • Work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Engineering
  • Maintain sales and project data and perform regular forecasting and reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in business or a technical field, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in industrial sales or business development, ideally in sensors and electronic components
  • Proficient with standard MS Office applications and, ideally, experience with SAP
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 75–80%)
