Maintaining existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers
Conducting contract negotiations through to conclusion
Further development and expansion of the assigned market region
Preparation of market and competitor analyses
Providing competent, solution-oriented technical consulting to customers, including technical design and specification
Collaboration with foreign subsidiaries and local representatives
Close customer support and account management
Requirements
Degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, process engineering, or similar) and business administration knowledge, or a comparable qualification
Solid professional experience in sales, ideally in the plastics processing industry and with technically complex capital goods
Profound knowledge of extrusion processes is an advantage
Several years of experience in sales or sales-related roles; a strong affinity for business and sales processes and entrepreneurial thinking are advantageous
Business-fluent English; additional foreign language skills are an advantage
Willingness to travel, including internationally
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a goal- and growth-oriented mindset
