About the role

  • Operations Manager leading staff across various sites in Germany. Responsibilities include personnel management, operation coordination, and performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational staff across multiple sites (approximately 10–40 employees per site working across 3 shifts)
  • Conduct hiring of personnel in coordination with executive management
  • Coordinate day-to-day operational processes
  • Perform performance reviews and ensure targets are met
  • Provide customer support and handle complaints
  • Coordinate collections/pickups in consultation with dispatch/scheduling and material flow management
  • Monitor compliance with maintenance schedules (vehicles, equipment)
  • Travel 3–5 days per week, depending on site responsibility

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in the waste management or logistics industry, preferably with substantial leadership responsibility
  • Confident and effective negotiation skills
  • Strong assertiveness combined with high social competence
  • High flexibility and exceptional commitment
