About the role

  • Betriebsleiter managing operations and processes in waste management services at KNETTENBRECH + GURDULIC. Leading teams and ensuring compliance with environmental standards in Mannheim.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal operational processes and continuously develop and improve procedures
  • Technical and organizational management of the facility
  • Manage and monitor internal processes and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, quality standards and occupational health and safety
  • Execute and review commercial/administrative processes such as cash handling, inventory management, etc.
  • Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for subordinate employees

Requirements

  • Completed technical or business degree (university) or equivalent vocational training with relevant expertise
  • Several years of professional experience in the waste management industry with substantial leadership experience
  • Truck / heavy-equipment driving license preferred
  • Analytical and meticulous approach
  • Strong assertiveness and excellent interpersonal skills
  • High flexibility and exceptional commitment
