About the role

  • Estagiário(a) jurídico no contencioso administrativo tributário no escritório KLA, auxiliando na gestão de processos e suporte à equipe jurídica.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring administrative proceedings before bodies such as state and municipal Departments of Finance (Secretariats of Finance);
  • Organizing and updating internal controls and case tracking spreadsheets;
  • Assisting in the analysis of notices of assessment, tax notifications and other documents related to administrative tax litigation;
  • Preparing drafts of procedural documents of low complexity;
  • Researching case law and tax legislation applicable to ongoing cases;
  • Supporting deadline management and administrative diligences;
  • Liaising with internal departments to gather information and documents necessary for administrative defense.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Law degree program, between the 4th and 6th semesters
  • Previous experience with administrative tax litigation, particularly at the state and municipal levels (indirect taxes), will be considered a plus
  • English at an intermediate level or higher
  • Proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
