About the role

  • Intern assisting in recruiting top coaches and experts for Leland, a startup focused on career and educational goals. Engaging in outreach campaigns and guiding coaches through onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to potential coaches via email, LinkedIn, and other creative channels to bring top coaches onto the platform.
  • Experiment with and develop new outreach strategies to continually improve response and conversion rates.
  • Manage coach relationships through every step of the onboarding process—from first touchpoint to going live on the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for new coaches.
  • Track progress and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and scale successful recruiting tactics.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—comfortable reaching out cold and building rapport quickly.
  • Creative and persistent approach to sourcing and outreach.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple conversations and processes simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with a scrappy, hands-on mindset and a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities.
  • Nice to have: Previous internship or project experience in recruiting, marketing, business development, operations, or a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Available to work in Lehi, Utah office at least 2x per week.
  • Available to work no less than 15 hours per week.
