About the role
- Sales Support Representative at RNDC, collaborating with sales team to manage order delivery and customer support. Building strong relationships and ensuring effective merchandising in the wine and spirits industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Sales Lead/Inside Sales Representative to ensure their orders are properly delivered, merchandised, and priced.
- Assisting with customer needs, submitting replenishment orders, and building good working relationships with account personnel.
- Helping customers with stocking shelves, resetting coolers, and creating displays for their purchased products.
- Solidifying strong customer relationships.
- Working with customers to understand areas where support is needed and providing this help (i.e. will calls, POS delivery, etc.).
- Placing prices and descriptive signs on product.
- Checking account’s on-hand inventory and submitting replenishment orders to fill gaps.
- Preparing and maintaining displays.
- Accurately sorting, labeling, and storing goods.
- Maintaining merchandising reports.
- Surveying the account for merchandising opportunities and presenting promotional activities/material that will improve their representation in the store.
- Reporting competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to immediate supervisor.
- Covering open sales territory, as needed and as applicable, due to absence or vacation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires a current, valid state drivers license, and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the company.
- Product knowledge applicable to wine and spirits industry.
- Experience stocking shelves and understanding of how to create product displays.
