About the role

Responsibilities
- Recording, processing and coordinating customer orders in the warehouse management system, and liaising with customers, the warehouse and shipping
- Controlling and monitoring the material flow, including ensuring smooth handling of goods
- Preparing, generating and affixing shipping labels, and preparing all relevant shipping and clearance documents
- Checking goods in and out of the warehouse, maintaining inventory data and carrying out stock controls
- Coordinating, inspecting and dispatching loadings and trucks, including communication with drivers
- Ensuring compliance with safety and dangerous goods regulations (ADR) and performing general administrative tasks
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, e.g., as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk, or an equivalent qualification
- Initial professional experience in the described area is desirable
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and SAP is an advantage
- Very good written and spoken German
- Confident user of MS Office
