About the role

  • Team Leader responsible for managing fresh food sections at HIT supermarket in Berlin. Ensuring product availability and providing excellent customer service with a focus on quality.

Responsibilities

  • You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
  • You confidently balance demand-driven purchasing with swift turnover
  • Together with your team you present merchandise attractively
  • You provide individual, personal, expert and cordial advice and service to customers
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated display units and chests
  • Through your careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector or as a butcher
  • Ideally a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
  • Preferably initial leadership experience in service counter operations
  • Very good knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
  • An outgoing, responsible team-player
