About the role

Responsibilities
- You independently manage the fresh and service (deli) counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the sales/performance figures in your area of responsibility are met
- Together with your team, you present products attractively
- You advise and serve customers — and act as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area
- You plan staff deployments carefully and have the ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees
Requirements
- Completed training as a certified specialist salesperson in the fresh-food sector or as a trained butcher
- Ideally a master butcher qualification or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience at service/deli counters
- Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and seafood products
- A personable, responsible team-player who is committed to the commercial success of their area and to the satisfaction of customers and the team
