About the role

Responsibilities
- You independently manage the fresh food and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and that the performance figures in your area are correct
- Together with your team, you display merchandize attractively
- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the related refrigerated shelves and chests/freezers in the self-service area
- Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees, you ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector or as a butcher
- Ideally a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters
- Excellent knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
- An outgoing, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the commercial success of their area as well as to the satisfaction of customers and the team
