About the role

Responsibilities

  • You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
  • You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are correct
  • You present products attractively and advise and serve customers
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated display units
  • You motivate, develop and inspire your team

Requirements

  • Completed training as a specialist salesperson in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
  • Ideally a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
  • Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters
  • Excellent knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
  • A sociable, responsible team-player personality
