About the role

  • Director of Channel Partnerships at Jobber handling strategy, recruitment, and acquisition for partnerships. Focused on driving new revenue streams for small service businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the channel business development strategic plan
  • Conduct market research and identify target prospects with partners in key categories
  • Maintain a pipeline of channel partnership opportunities
  • Develop compelling business value propositions for franchise partners
  • Recruit, manage and coach a team of Partner Managers
  • Drive connection with potential partners through outreach
  • Structure appropriate partner models/contracts
  • Pitch and close partnerships to meet business objectives
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Jobber product offering and competitive advantages
  • Maintain partnership industry competitive detail for partnership gaps
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive channel growth
  • Provide feedback to product teams on partner feature requests

Requirements

  • Proven previous experience in a results-driven sales/partnership, affiliate and/or business development role(s)
  • Demonstrated experience in people management
  • Experience working with franchisors is a plus
  • A dynamic approach to your partnership style, developing strong relationships with external partners and internal teams
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to set ambitious goals and build actionable plans
  • Next-level communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask while staying focused
  • Passion for building programs and teams from nothing
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and communicate across stakeholders
  • Ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate effectively
