About the role

  • Technical Support Employee in SaaS at ISGUS, focused on high availability concepts in data centers. Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the reliability of ISGUS systems and informing partners about availability issues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts for the high availability of ISGUS products as Software-as-a-Service in the ISGUS data center
  • Host ISGUS products in the data center and perform updates and security patches
  • Monitor components in the data center and ensure guaranteed availability
  • Inform sales partners and customers about functional limitations and system availability issues

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration, or a comparable IT qualification
  • General IT knowledge (Linux and MS Windows operating systems, MS SQL and MongoDB databases, etc.)
  • Experience in time management
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes)
