About the role

  • Pre-Sales Engineer for Innovatrics facilitating technical understanding of biometric solutions. Engaging with clients and engineering teams to transition from presales to implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical backbone of the sales process
  • Help partners, system integrators, and end clients understand biometric technology
  • Align business needs with our solutions capabilities
  • Ensure a smooth transition from presales phase to purchase and implementation
  • Build relationships with internal teams—Sales, Solutions, Engineering and Professional Services
  • Lead product demos and technical presentations
  • Contribute to solution designs and technical proposals
  • Support early-stage Proofs of Concept and pilot projects
  • Own the technical pre-sales process for your assigned opportunities
  • Tailor demos and solutions to complex client requirements
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to improve our offers

Requirements

  • University degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business
  • Proven B2B experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or solution engineering
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills in English
  • Professional fluency in Malay and/or Chinese languages is highly desirable
  • Experience with biometric technologies is a plus
  • Familiarity with tenders or partner-driven sales is highly valued
  • Eagerness to grow into a trusted technical advisor in the biometrics space
  • Comfortable working in hybrid/remote setups
