About the role

  • Head of HR overseeing all HR functions at IMS, a connected car technology leader. Focused on HR strategy, compliance, talent acquisition, and employee engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and labor regulations in all regions of operation.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition (TA) to support end-to-end recruitment, ensuring that IMS attracts and retains top talent.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for HR-related issues, ensuring fair and legally compliant resolutions.
  • Develop and manage employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture.

Requirements

  • Proven HR leadership experience, managing multiple HR functions across global teams.
  • Experience managing HR team or junior HR team members (e.g. HR administration, talent acquisition).
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll compliance, and HR policies in the UK and North America.
  • Expertise in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment strategies.
  • HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, CHRP, CHRL or equivalent) is an asset.
