About the role
- The role involves planning and executing international purchasing processes for ICONIC, ensuring compliance and logistics optimization. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute international purchasing/import processes, ensuring documental and regulatory compliance.
- Obtain international freight quotations and authorize shipments with freight forwarders.
- Prepare purchase orders and quotations to enable imports.
- Monitor dispatch and transport of cargo (road, sea and air) for finished goods, additives, greases, equipment and packaging.
- Track shipment status, update management tools and prepare performance reports and KPIs.
- Participate in import strategic planning by producing analyses and dashboards.
- Ensure deadlines and demand standards defined by the planning team are met.
- Execute payments for purchase orders and authorize expenses such as demurrage and storage.
- Enter proposals and operational details into systems (routes, rates, suppliers).
- Maintain relationships with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Liaise with Commercial, Finance and Procurement teams to resolve discrepancies.
