About the role

  • Territory Manager in Husqvarna's U.S. Dealer Sales team, cultivating dealer relationships and driving performance. Responsible for securing and developing new dealers in designated territories.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivating a business relationship that facilitates each dealer’s growth, optimal performance, and success
  • Securing and developing new dealers to help meet sales and market-share goals for the territory
  • Planning, enhancing, and measuring the performance of assigned dealers
  • Service the assigned dealer base
  • Present products, promotional programs, etc. to dealers
  • Regular travel up to 60% with overnights required

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor Degree Preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high performance sales environment
  • Lives in a location within the assigned territory that the Company logically determines will best serve our customers
  • Prior sales experience in industries that have shown dramatic growth and volume in sales, such as appliance, agricultural equipment, power tools, electronics, consumer durables, construction equipment, and/or powersports businesses preferred
  • Prior dealer/distributor sales experience preferred
  • Proven sales performer with excellent negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently and transfer expert knowledge into practical solutions as part of maintaining a successful relationship with dealers and customers
  • Demonstrated understanding of market positioning both from a financial and product viewpoint
