About the role

  • Sales Representative driving revenue growth and acquiring new clients while maintaining existing relationships. Identifying opportunities and exceeding sales targets for Hubbell Incorporated.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential customers through various means such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Present products and services to potential clients through effective demonstrations and sales pitches.
  • Negotiate terms of sales agreements, pricing, and contracts with customers to secure deals.
  • Close sales and achieve targets by understanding customer requirements and addressing concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM software.
  • Coordinate with sales team and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of products or services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry or with comparable product or service (required)
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas (required)
  • Excellent persuasive interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with potential and existing clients
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships
  • Resilience to handle rejection and setbacks while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational skills to manage leads, follow ups, and sales appointments efficiently
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software or sales tracking systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer needs are met effectively
