About the role

  • Sr. Commercial Operations Manager driving efficiency in energy contract negotiations while partnering with Sales, Legal, and Business Units for Grid Automation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare redlines for T&Cs, evaluate deal risks, and obtain necessary BU approvals
  • Support negotiations with customers and Grid Automation VP GMs to optimize company growth and value
  • Exercise judgment to resolve complex issues and keep agreement timelines on track
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to ensure prompt responses to T&Cs under negotiation
  • Review and assess proposal risks, working with proposal management to deliver high-quality proposals

Requirements

  • Over 10 years' experience negotiating commercial contracts in the energy/utilities sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Economics from an accredited institution
  • Expert in preparing and negotiating commercial contracts and MSAs
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
  • Collaborative mindset with foundations of supporting our customers both external and internal
  • Strong motivation to apply Lean principles to analyze and resolve problems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • MBA degree desired
