- Supervisor responsible for GMP cell manufacturing at Winship Cancer Institute, ensuring quality and compliance while leading a team of technicians in advanced cancer treatments.
Responsibilities
- Work in a state-of-the-art, good manufacturing practices (GMP) facility
- Manufacture GMP cell culture products for cancer treatment
- Responsible for manufacturing virus-specific T-cells
- Operate with a higher level of independence
- May oversee and support a team of junior technicians
- Prepare drug products for patient administration
- Develop, maintain, and improve computerized databases
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in biology or related field
- Three years GMP manufacturing experience required
- Experience with human cell culture, nucleic acid manipulation (sequencing, RNA, DNA, extraction etc.) preferred
- Certification as a Medical Technologist preferred
- Masters degree in related field preferred.
