Responsibilities
Actively acquire new customers and manage and maintain existing customer relationships in the sales territory of Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland
Plan and conduct customer visits and business meetings to promote sales and nurture customer relationships
Identify new market and sales opportunities within the sales territory
Present products and services on-site at customer locations
Prepare quotes and conduct contract negotiations
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies
Participate in trade shows and events to represent the company
Maintain the customer database and provide regular reports on sales activities
Support sales-related projects and occasionally cover for colleagues in the sales department
Requirements
Degree or vocational training in business administration, sales or a related field
Professional experience in sales, ideally in public transport or rail
Strong ability to identify and respond to customer needs and to work effectively in a team
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Structured working style and an independent, goal-oriented approach
Confident user of MS Office and CRM systems
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and possibly internationally
