Responsibilities
Be responsible for development of the Defense Business for dedicated public and commercial accounts within your geo
Cover Central and Southern Europe with a strong focus on Germany
Be the primary responsible contact for all Edge Compute Solutions (HPE Edgeline line of business)
Work with country sales teams on local strategy and funnel planning
Establish a strong consultative relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for mid-to-large accounts, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within the defense industry.
Invest time working with and leveraging external partners and HPE Channel to deliver sale.
Maintains broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives.
Requirements
University or Bachelor's degree
Typically, 10+ years of experience in compute sales
Ability to conceptualize and articulate well-targeted edge compute solutions in the Defense industry
Profound experience in working with account teams to screen and prioritize multiple leads for feasibility
Ability to balance strategic and tactical pursuits to optimize coverage and develop a predictable revenue stream.
Uses C-level engagement skills in collaboration with account leads to offer value-add solutions to the client.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Consultative selling skills, proactively help customers with making IT business decisions
Knowledge of defense industry trends, associated solutions, key customers as well as Defense contractors is expected
Excellent project oversight skills
Experienced use of CRM (SFDC) to update deal profile and forecasting accurately
Security Clearance or willingness to undergo appropriate security clearances is expected.
Business fluency in German and English language, additional languages within the sales territory are beneficial
