About the role

  • Technical Product Marketing Manager developing product narratives connecting AI advancements with hiring and upskilling. Collaborating across teams to lead communications and create high-quality content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously evolve HackerRank's product narrative across hiring and upskilling. Connect releases to broader shifts in AI and software development.
  • Author high-quality content directly: product decks, technical blogs, whitepapers, demo videos, walkthroughs, competitive intelligence, and customer-facing materials.
  • Lead product release communications. Collaborate with PMs and marketing on messaging and assets for enablement, webinars, emails, webpages, video, and social media.
  • Maintain and keep product artifacts current: webpages, videos, decks, and positioning materials.
  • Produce field enablement materials, positioning debriefs, and short-form product videos. Synthesize signals from the field, Kaia recordings, and customer conversations to spot narrative gaps.
  • Join product jams, roadmap reviews, and sprint demos. Use HackerRank and competitor products daily.
  • Build with AI tools. Create agentic workflows that help teams move faster.
  • Partner with the Content Studio on market-facing video. Collaborate on social media and short-form content to promote products and features.
  • Work across Product, Marketing, Field/GTM, Content Studio, and Support.

Requirements

  • A product marketer with 4 to 7 years of experience in Product Marketing, Developer Marketing, or Technical Content, with at least 2 years serving a developer or technical audience.
  • You've written code, built with AI tools (including agents and agentic workflows), and understand technical workflows from the inside. Engineering or CS background preferred.
  • Strong writer. Clear, technically grounded, opinionated. You can distill complex technology into value-based messaging that resonates across very different audiences. Portfolio of directly authored work required.
  • High empathy for both the builder (developers, candidates, students) and the buyer (recruiters, TA ops, engineering leaders, procurement).
  • Comfortable working across IST and US PT timezones.
  • You take feedback well and iterate fast.
  • Experience at a developer tools, API platform, or technical B2B SaaS company.
  • Ability to demo features to diverse audiences in webinars and live presentations.
  • Experience across dual audiences: technical buyers and non-technical buyers.
  • Familiarity with the developer hiring or upskilling space.
