About the role

  • Manage clients' accounts
  • Maintain financial records
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Support senior staff and managers with daily client activities
  • Handle AP/AR, cash receipt and journal entry coding, general ledger, payroll
  • Review bank balances and statements
  • Approve transfers as needed
  • Monitor credit card activity, fraud alerts, and credit score issues
  • Keep track of insurance renewals and claims
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate completion of tasks

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related accounting or finance internship/work experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in a client or customer-facing role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, sense of urgency, and ability to follow through.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost security and tact.
  • Commitment to professionalism, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with Accounting, Imaging, and Billing software is a plus
