Responsibilities
Responsible for results of the geographic unit for the product line, both in terms of volume and quality
Provide visionary leadership to the sales team and support ongoing change initiatives
Act as a multiplier for continuous improvement and serve as a role model for constructive change and digitalization
Lead employees with a focus on potential-oriented development and sustainable individual performance management
Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations
Manage costs to meet targets and budgets
Develop a strategic line plan and ensure its implementation
Coordinate content and resource planning with all relevant functional areas
Conduct performance management at individual and team levels, including talent management and succession planning
Continually improve the quality and capabilities of the sales team
Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and senior-level decision-makers
Requirements
University degree, preferably in economics, life sciences, natural sciences or medicine
Qualification according to § 75 AMG (German Medicines Act) or equivalent university degree
Strong understanding of company strategy and the industry landscape
Proven management experience in a comparable sales role, such as a line manager or marketing manager in the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent knowledge of the German healthcare system and its key opinion leaders/decision-makers
Excellent English language skills, including presentation skills
Entrepreneurial and strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to operationalize strategy sustainably through regional managers
Ability to influence senior management on strategic and tactical marketing matters
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
