Responsibilities
Lead and supervise operational team safe work execution and actively support operational safety, health, risk and related campaigns and interventions
Lead and supervise Recruitment team operational delivery, ensuring effective execution of recruitment processes across the mine’s operational areas
Provide coaching, guidance, and development support to the Recruitment team to enhance their skills and performance
Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including requisition initiation, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies to build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
Coordinate with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with workforce planning and organisational goals
Monitor recruitment metrics and generate reports to track time-to-fill, pipeline health, and compliance with Employment Equity targets
Ensure recruitment activities comply with relevant legislation, company policies, and safety standards
Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and service providers to optimize sourcing and selection outcomes
Resolve escalated recruitment issues and challenges promptly, ensuring a positive candidate and stakeholder experience
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the recruitment function to improve efficiency, candidate quality, and service delivery
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture focused on responsiveness, accountability, and professionalism
Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
Proficient in SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms for recruitment management
Intermediate skills in Excel and Power BI
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test
