Partner Development Manager driving Sales engagement and growth with XL-Tail AVANT Trusted Advisors via calls and emails. Responsible for sales activation, managing opportunities in Salesforce, and conducting business reviews.
Responsibilities
The Partner Development Manager (PDM) is responsible for tactically driving Sales engagement, activation and growth with a regionally assigned group of XL-Tail AVANT Trusted Advisors.
These activities are performed primarily via Zoom, telephone and email.
The PDM will actively participate in coordinated sales calls with the trusted advisors and suppliers.
The PDM will be expected to meet or exceed target key performance metrics and quota.
Limited travel required.
High volume of outbound activities expected (calls/emails) with subset of trusted advisors within an assigned region.
Heavy focus on sales activation of trusted advisors.
Receiving and responding to inbound sales opportunities and doing whatever is necessary to bring them to closure.
On-board and Re-board trusted advisors which includes training on the Pathfinder, adoption of the automation processes via the Pathfinder and introduction to vendors.
Conduct Strategic Business Reviews with select trusted advisors.
Drive attendance to in-market events and technical trainings.
Drive partner participation and sales through marketing campaigns and other programs.
Manage all opportunities and funnel in Salesforce.
Maintain a high level of knowledge on all products, programs and promotions.
First point of contact for escalations.
Secondary contact for quotes and contracts.
Requirements
A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or advanced degree in related field of study preferred.
1-2 years’ experience in the IT or Telecom Channel
Proven success in consistently achieving goals as Channel Manager, BDR or similar work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Excellent ability to influence decision making at all levels of organization
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
