About the role

  • Key Account Manager in Givaudan’s Taste & Wellbeing Division managing client relationships and driving sales strategies for innovative food solutions. Focused on the beverage sector with project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic relationship with clients at both senior level and operation level, sophisticated in the working environment of Market Giant in China, including the complicated organization structure, and frequent change in Market Giant.
  • Independently develop the account sales strategy, and ADP (business development plan), initiating, planning, leading the activities to deliver the account strategy with support from internal team.
  • Achieve annual sales target, project pipeline, and WIN rate (the measurement for the winning project / the total projects engaged.)
  • Sharply identify customer needs and translate them into viable projects, building clear business cases to secure internal approval and resources.
  • Work with regional team to support the innovation project development, and also contribute the commercialization of the innovation.
  • Maintain high biz. Ethics in daily work, and protect the our reputation.
  • Play a project leader role in leading and motivating the cross-function team in daily work, ensure our resource (time, HR, expense, investment) used.
  • Manage the internal stakeholders, ensure good agreement on project/customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the food ingredient/additives industry, with at least 2 years specifically focused on the beverage sector
  • Proven project management experience, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects from initiation to completion
  • Passion to win in a challenging environment
  • Good business acumen in the selective category, preferred in beverage, alcohol, confection, and snack
  • Good analytical skills to drill to the root cause
  • Resilient in the demanding sales work
  • Good organization awareness
  • Willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge
