About the role

  • Business Development Representative specializing in customs brokerage at GHY. Handling inbound leads and driving client-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound leads and match them with the right team or partner.
  • Handle low-volume importers, close deals, and kick off account setups.
  • Connect with potential clients through discovery meetings and deliver a client-first experience.
  • Uncover opportunities using tools like LinkedIn and ZoomInfo to qualify leads, book meetings, generate leads and keep your pipeline active.
  • Hit clearly defined key performance indicators and drive results by utilizing existing scripts, playbooks and CRM.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and manage a tight pipeline in our CRM.
  • Conduct 15+ screenings and take 10+ meetings weekly.
  • Keep leads engaged and relationships growing, supporting marketing campaigns and outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organization and comfort in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive) and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Customs and trade knowledge, with a clear understanding of how GHY’s services create value
  • Sales experience is an asset, but drive, curiosity, and growth mindset matter most.
  • A self-motivated, highly responsive approach to work.
