Responsibilities
Re-contact former Payplug customers by phone
Understand their reasons for leaving and identify opportunities for them to return
Present updates to the Payplug offering and persuade them to reconsider the solution
Follow up on Payplug account opening requests
Quickly contact new merchants to support them through their onboarding
Ensure successful integration
Resolve any technical or operational blockers
Convert opened accounts into active accounts generating transaction volume
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in business development / sales / inside sales
Preferably within a SaaS company, payments, or e‑commerce
Comfortable with intensive phone prospecting (several dozen calls per day)
Strong commercial resilience and a taste for challenges
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
Ability to quickly build trust with entrepreneurs and e‑merchants
